食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊  據(jù)歐盟食品安全局（EFSA）消息， 7月16日歐盟食品安全局就交聯(lián)聚丙烯酸鈉鹽作為活性食品接觸材料的安全性評(píng)估發(fā)布了意見(jiàn)。

    交聯(lián)聚丙烯酸鈉鹽可作為液體吸收劑用于肉禽、水產(chǎn)品、果蔬等。歐盟專家組經(jīng)過(guò)評(píng)估認(rèn)為，如果該物質(zhì)在使用時(shí)，不超出吸附能力，不直接與食品接觸并且僅放置在拖盤中，那么當(dāng)它作為新鮮或冷凍食品包裝中的吸收劑時(shí)不會(huì)造成安全問(wèn)題。

    This scientific opinion of the EFSA Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes, Flavourings and Processing Aids deals with the safety assessment of polyacrylic acid, sodium salt, crosslinked, FCM substance No 1015, which is intended to be used as a liquid absorber in the packaging of fresh or frozen foods such as meat, poultry, and seafood as well as fresh fruits and vegetables.

    The Panel noted that if polyacrylic acid, sodium salt, crosslinked is used not in direct contact with food and placed in a pad under conditions where its absorption capacity is not exceeded, then no migration is to be expected and therefore no exposure from the consumption of the packed food is expected. The Panel also considered that non-crosslinked polymer and the crosslinkers do not raise a concern for genotoxicity.
