當(dāng)微生物對(duì)抗感染的藥物產(chǎn)生抗性時(shí)便產(chǎn)生了抗生素耐藥性問(wèn)題。這意味著抗感染的抗生素不再有效。

 

    英國(guó)食品標(biāo)準(zhǔn)署表示，抗生素耐藥性問(wèn)題對(duì)全球公共衛(wèi)生構(gòu)成威脅。英國(guó)食品標(biāo)準(zhǔn)署一直以來(lái)，同國(guó)際組織、他國(guó)政府以及食品生產(chǎn)商一道，減少抗生素在產(chǎn)肉動(dòng)物身上的使用。

    Heather Hancock, the Chair of the Food Standards Agency, today opened the meeting of the Codex Alimentarius working group on Antimicrobial Resistance （AMR） in London. Codex Alimentarius is the global food standards body and the meeting, chaired by the UK, USA and Australia, has been organised to progress international efforts to tackle AMR.

 

    AMR is a significant increasing threat to public health across the world. As part of the FSA's commitment to protecting consumers, it is working with international partners, other Government departments, and food producers, to reduce the use of antimicrobials in food producing animals.
