食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊 據(jù)美國食品安全新聞網(wǎng)消息,近日美國疾病預(yù)防控制中心(CDC)公布去年美國馬里蘭州由黃瓜引起的沙門氏菌疫情報告。
去年的疫情導(dǎo)致275人患病,一人死亡。由于美國CDC稱僅有三十分之一的沙門氏菌得到確認,因此可以相信去年的疫情產(chǎn)生的影響較大。
美國CDC表示,短期內(nèi)查明生鮮農(nóng)產(chǎn)品引發(fā)疫情的源頭較為困難。由于黃瓜、西紅柿等生鮮農(nóng)產(chǎn)品保質(zhì)期短、周轉(zhuǎn)快,而且追溯起來相對困難,導(dǎo)致調(diào)查人員很難獲取足夠的樣本,這增加了調(diào)查的難度。

In late February, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a detailed report describing a summer 2014 outbreak of Salmonella linked to cucumbers grown in the Delmarva region of Maryland.
The outbreak resulted in 275 confirmed illnesses and the death of one man. Considering that CDC estimates only one in 30 Salmonella cases are confirmed, the outbreak is believed to have had a wide-reaching impact on consumers.
