報道稱，龍蝦生意是加拿大最賺錢的漁業(yè)產(chǎn)業(yè)。2014年產(chǎn)出約為10億元。1萬持證企業(yè)落戶魁北克省，另有3萬捕撈者聚集大西洋省份。聯(lián)邦數(shù)據(jù)顯示，2015年82,700公噸的加拿大龍蝦被出口至其他國家，創(chuàng)收20.3億元。

 

    從事漁業(yè)40年的艾利表示，加元低迷推動了龍蝦銷往美國。目前80%的龍蝦被賣到了美國；與此同時，對亞洲的出口也開始增多。本月初加拿大總理特魯多訪華時，曾與中國電子商務(wù)公司阿里巴巴集團的董事局主席馬云一起展示產(chǎn)自加拿大的龍蝦。
